Obama VS Romney, Sunday 5 new polls, Obama vs Romney in virtual dead heat nationally, In the race for the White House 6 new polls Sunday showed President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are in a dead heat nationally.

A Reuters/Ipsos daily online tracking poll on Sunday showed Obama leading Romney by 1 percentage point, 46% to 45%, down from a 3-point Romney lead last Thursday.

Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that President Obama is now behind on who has the better plan for the federal deficit. President Obama was ahead by 1 point two weeks ago. Mitt Romney now has a significant lead on that issue, 43.4 percent to 29.9.

President Obama lead 47% to Mitt Romney 44%. Nine percent are undecided. The nationwide online poll has a margin of error of +/-3.4 points.
