Harry Shearer

Harry Shearer, Harry Shearer is an actor, author, director, satirist, musician, radio host, playwright, multi-media artist and record label owner. Building on his four years-plus worth of writing (and broadcasting) about the causes of the 2005 New Orleans flood, Shearer made a feature-length documentary, "The Big Uneasy", now streaming on Netflix and available through Amazon and iTunes.

Following 2007's Grammy-nominated CD, "Songs Pointed and Pointless", and 2008's Grammy-nominated "Songs of the Bushmen", Shearer is releasing his fourth music record iAugust 27, "Can't Take a Hint", featuring guest performers ranging from Fountains of Wayne and Jane Lynch to Dr. John and Alice Russell.

In spring 2009, Shearer and his partners in musical satire, Chris Guest and Michael McKean, toured 30 cities in the US with an acoustic concert of Spinal Tap and Folksmen songs.
