CLEVELAND, OHIO — A bus driver, with 22-years on the job, delivered a vicious uppercut to a 25-year-old woman before shoving her off the bus, according to a report in The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Artis Hughes, who works for the Regional Transit Authority in Cleveland, has been suspended pending the investigation and he and his union president have been notified, an RTA spokeswoman told the paper.

The female passenger was identified as Shidea N. Lane.

RTA officials first saw the video on Thursday, according to the paper, but believe the incident took place on Sept. 18.

Neither Hughes, who said he was assaulted by the young woman, nor Lane pressed charges, according to the report.

Passengers recorded the melee on their cell phones and the videos have now racked up millions of hits.

Hughes can be seen punching Lane an then exclaiming, "I don't care. She want to be a man, I'm going to treat you like a man."
