William Shatner sued for 'harassing former handyman injured on the job', William Shatner is facing a lawsuit from two former employees amid claims he 'harassed and berated' them for refusing to sign an injury waiver.
Oscar Alfaro claims he worked with his wife Delmy at the actor's Studio City, Los Angeles property for 20 years before he was injured on the job.
The pair allege Shatner asked that the handyman sign a waiver releasing him from financial responsibility, but when he refused the actor retaliated and bullied both of them into quitting.
Court documents obtained by TMZ allege Oscar and his wife, Shatner's former housekeeper Delmy, suffered 'humiliation, embarrassment and mental anguish' as a result of Oscar's refusal to sign the waiver.
The papers, filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, report the pair were unable to continue working under such conditions. Oscar and Delmy Alfaro are suing for unspecified damages, according to TMZ.
Both are said to have claimed lost wages. A representative for the former Star Trek actor, 81, has not yet responded to MailOnline's request for comment.
