Chris Brown’s Neck Tattoo Is Not of Rihanna, Chris Brown’s new neck ink may bear some resemblance to photos of his ex-girlfriend after his 2009 attack on her, but a rep for Brown confirmed to ABCNews.com that the tattoo is not of Rihanna.

“His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw,” Brown’s rep said. “It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”

The rep noted that the tattoo is peeling right now, making it look not like the design Brown originally intended.

Rihanna just got a notable new tattoo of her own — a large image of the goddess Isis below her breasts in memory of her grandmother.

Rumors about Brown and Rihanna rekindling their relationship heated up again after last week’s MTV Video Music Awards, when Rihanna gave Brown a kiss while walking through the audience. Both took home Moon Man trophies that night.

Whatever the status of their relationship, Brown is still keeping up with the organization he began working with following his assault on Rihanna. Last week in Los Angeles, he headlined a back to school festival for children associated with the Jenesse Center, a national non-profit domestic violence intervention and prevention organization.
