Tripp Johnson, son of Bristol Palin

Tripp Johnson, son of Bristol Palin, Tripp's grandmother is a former governor and vice-presidential nominee who continues to make a name for herself as an author and political commentator. His mother starred on a reality show on Lifetime, but it was recently canceledLevi Johnson is digging in his heels and getting ready for a messy court battle to gain full custody of his son Tripp. Johnson apparently has had it with the poor parenting and lack of discipline of former main squeeze and attention who..er, darling Bristol Palin.

Palin, who is currently in LA getting ready for an appearance on ‘Dancing With The Stars’, was quick to criticize President Obama’s parenting skills recently after he mentioned his relationship with a number of same sex parents influencing his evolution in opinion on the issue of same sex marriage.
Bristol Palin and the rest of her hillbilly, Chick-fil-a loving family will soon fill millions of homes via their upcoming reality television show (because we obviously can’t get enough of that wonderful family in our day-to-day lives!). Real talk, I’d rank the marketability of the Palin family right up there with the old Jerry Springer show.

I remember flipping on the old boob tube back in the day to people throwing chairs and ripping out weaves on television. The majority of the news coverage of the Palin family invokes a very similar response in me. I do have to tip my hat to them for running a comb through their hair and brushing their teeth and at least trying to clean it up a bit for appearances’ sake.

What do you think about the pending custody battle? Does Johnson’s lawsuit have legs? Bristol may have made her bed with all of the examples of poor parenting she has out there in the name of ‘good television’. Let’s hope her contract paid her enough to hire a decent lawyer, I think she is going to need it. One thing is for sure, even her West Hollywood gay bar fights won’t shake a stick to her impending court battle.
